Trek Midge and Tick Insect Repellant 60ml Trek Midge & Tick (formerly Repel Midge) has an improved product formulation. Trek Midge & Tick contains 20% micro-encapsulated Saltidin® for even better protection with added moisturising plant extracts. Made using advanced time-release technology, once applied to the skin the repellent is released slowly over the period of wear to give all-day protection for up to 12 hours! Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, gardeners or anyone spending extended periods outdoors during midge season (usually May to September), Trek Midge & Tick also protects against horsefly and tick bites. How long does it last? Trek Midge & Tick provides all-day protection for up to 12 hours. The length of protection provided is dependent on a variety of factors including perspiration and activity. Ingredients? Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Piperidine Carboxylate (Saltidin) 20% w/w, Isopropanol, Fragrance, Plant Extracts. How to use? Apply throughout the day and evening as required. Regarding the spray application, due to the addition of using advanced micro-encapsulation technology for this DEET-free spray, the viscosity of the spray is slightly thicker, which does require you to apply Trek Midge & Tick onto the palms or backs of your hands to spread the insect repellent overexposed areas of skin. The micro-encapsulation is used to allow you to be effectively protected for up to 12 hours, whilst also increasing resistance to sweat and splashes. Therefore, applying this spray is similar to how you would apply moisturiser or suncream. For the application of Trek Midge & Tick onto your face, we recommend not spraying directly onto your face, but again spray a small amount onto the palm or back of your hand and lightly pat onto your face. Also, take care to avoid the eyes, mouth and palms of the hands that could cause ingestion of the product. Can be used on children over 2 years of age and pregnant women. Wash hands thoroughly after application.
