The rack is made of high-quality steel with a matte black (powder-coated) finish and is designed for Bordeaux bottles, although both Burgundy and standard Champagne bottles also fit in the rack. VintageView wine racks provide a highly flexible and customizable wine storage solution as you can store bottles 1, 2 or 3 deep. They are easy to install and can be used to store wine bottles in almost any room, regardless of height, depth or width restrictions. Installation of a VintageView wine rack Each VintageView rack is supplied as two wall-mounted heights, one to hold the bottom of the bottle and one to hold the neck of the bottle. These can be attached to the wall either 'left' or 'right' handed, allowing the bottle neck to face either left or right. Fasteners depend on the surface of the wall. We recommend purchasing your own screws adapted to your walls and structures. A standard wine bottle (750 ml) is on average 300 mm long, for this size the heights should be mounted 190 mm apart (with a minimum distance of 70 mm from your first perpendicular wall) and then 140 mm between rows. Each complete rack therefore requires approximately 330 mm of space, side to side, for installation with standard bottles.
